The Thing on the Threshold : Matilda works the graveyard shift alone, and she’s finally willing to share her headspace with a complete stranger for the night, using the Connect2 skull-to-skull technology, just to have someone to talk to. But on this seemingly normal night, she connects with John, a worker at a clandestine research institute with only one job: watch the empty cell at the end of the hall. They’ll both learn that John isn’t the only one with a bizarre job; that is, they’re about to realize the device in their brains is able to connect them to something far more terrifying than stories.

A Conjuring For Lilith: An unknown narrator recounts his three-month experiment conjuring the gnostic demon goddess Lilith and the rude price he pays when he's forced to pause his sordid routine. It begins with footsteps in the empty apartment above his own as an unseen entity mirrors his every movement, step by step, and it ends with a creative plot to spot Lilith's reflection in a window, which he quickly regrets.

Between Wing and Water: Using actual radio transmissions from that fateful day, the story follows the designation of Flight 19, a group of five torpedo bombers that disappeared over the Bermuda Triangle on December 5, 1945. Told from the pilot instructor's point of view, the story interprets his final moments in this world (and perhaps the next).
