"Every Time a Fictional Character Dies, A Reptilian Is Born": Connor writes scary stories for his blog, but as his fans point out to him, his stories all have a central theme: the main character always dies at the end...and at the hands of an unseen predator. It isn't until he reads the fateful comment "Careful, every time a fictional character dies, a reptilian is born" that he dedicates himself to ridding himself of the unseen parasites plaguing his sleeping and waking hours.

Ghost Me: A Backrooms Story: When Alana is finally ready to confront the boyfriend who ghosted her—convinced that he's in trouble—she's met with a dilapidated house that no one's called home for years. The never-ending complex of empty rooms and hallways below ground uncovers more answers to her mystery than she was hoping to find in one day. She's soon confronted by one of the many lost souls down there, desperate to claim her phone as the only means of escape.

Under Construction: John is on his way up the mountain for a weekend of hunting and camping when he meets an impassable construction zone, manned by the strangest officer he's ever met, whose uniform, body shape, and accent change on a whim. As there doesn't seem to be any construction happening, he blows through the tape and enters an alien world, imprinted over his, and he's the stranger (enemy) in this new land; if only he can avoid the real residents.
